Race Results - Round 1 Jettribe Mid-America WaterX Championship (Lincoln, NB)

Race Report – Justin Smith Race Director: “Round 1 of the Jettribe Mid America WaterX Championship kicked off this past weekend at Branched Oak Lake. Racers from across the USA came together for an action-packed weekend of world championship qualifying. The race site was located near the historical Kawasaki factory that originally produced the first stand-up jet ski. From here they decided to go to market with the first model and sell through the dealerships. Fast-Forward 50 years or so, and Jettribe comes together with Nauti Water Racing to put on a race that had everyone thrilled to be back racing on the water.

Racers tested their skills on the rough waters that had 2-3 foot swells constantly blowing through the race course. There was a great turnout in the Junior and Beginner Classes, and this contributes to the sports growth. A solid core group of Region 9 Racers returned to battle it out on the “nauti-water” and see old friends after 18 months of being separated. The weather called for sunscreen and smiles, and the positive atmosphere contributed to great racing environment all weekend long.”
